It came this morning and I read it from cover to cover – a really excellent issue with a great deal of information. I am particularly delighted at the news of the Music Trains – we enjoyed one last session and a number of friends said that they wished they had known and they would have come on one. If you experienced it tell all the people you know.
On another point it would be nice to have real time information indicators at unstaffed stations so that you know whether the train is running. Not all of us are technically competent with mobiles.

No sign of my copy yet. Should I also have received details of the upcoming special train, as the first I knew of that was on the MCRUA website?

Hi, Vince!
My copy turned up yesterday, so you should get yours any day now. It’s a bit of a marathon enveloping and posting all these items as you can imagine, carried out by a few dedicated volunteers.
You’re right, we put it on the web site first, but members still have plenty of time to book before all the good seats on the railtour go!
