Better 82 bus service for Greenbank and Hartford ….
Greenbank and Hartford stations have an improved bus service from 1 June.
The route 82, which runs between Northwich and Chester, will become half-hourly during the middle of the day, Mondays to Fridays. The extra buses start at 0910 from Chester and finish with the 1710 from Northwich and two afternoon services run on school holidays only.
Details will be on the CWaC website once the service has started. Printed timetables are already available.
Using the bus might be more attractive than parking in the main road for people catching trains from Hartford (the car park’s normally full by 7am), although there is still no evening service. Depending on your exact journey from the Northwich area to Chester, it might offer a convenient alternative to the Mid-Cheshire line.
The Saturday service remains hourly.
