Bloomin’ Engineering Work (at Cuddington) ….

Posted on July 6th, 2010, by The Chairman

Last Sunday we had replacement buses between Knutsford and Chester due to track relaying between Cuddington and Greenbank. The buses all ran to plan from what we heard/saw.

Here’s an engineering train approaching Cuddington “wrong line” (or “bang road” as it’s also known on the Railway – is that “bang” as in “crash”?!!)

Well done, Cuddington, and to the many other stations on the line where the local communities work hard to look after their stations, and to the local councils (in this case Cheshire West & Chester and the local parish council) and others who support them.

You might like the attached for the engineering blog.

It would be nice if some expert could tell me what the equipment is that is being loaded onto the lorry.

A similar one was unloaded and parked on legs in front of the crane.
