Lots of support at Cuddington ….

Sally and David write ….

On 23 May there was a combination of support for Cuddington’s local railway.

Nine people joined an already busy music train to Plumley, whilst the 1st Cuddington and Sandiway Scout Group were busy collecting litter from around the station.

You can see only a few of the Scouts here. The rest were among the bushes getting scratched and stung and collecting over 30 bags of rubbish ranging from drink bottles to a child’s scooter.

Local parish councillor, Tim Vincent also came along – here retrieving yet another bottle.

On behalf of the CRP, MCRUA and Northern Rail, we would like to say a huge thank you to all involved for all the hard work at Cuddington …… 30 bags plus of rubbish collected makes a big difference to the appearance of the station surrounds.

Well done to all the Scouts.
Did I see girls in the pictures, dressed as Scouts.
Never in my day, eh, Baden?
