AUGUST MUSIC TRAIN FROM CHESTER TO PLUMLEY 25th August 2010
Acoustak, the Chester-based trio, are playing and singing on the Music Train and at the Golden Pheasant pub in Plumley. The train leaves Chester at 19:07 and we return at 22:45.
The band's repertoire ranges from country, folk and pop through to bluegrass and old time.
Acoustak's music covers a diverse range, from country, folk, pop through to bluegrass and old time. Particular influences include Bob Dylan, Steve Earle, Hank Williams and Creedence Clearwater Revival, to name but a few.
The music train uses one of the regular hourly services on the Mid Cheshire line. There is no charge for the event - just the price of your ordinary train ticket - remember to ask for a Northern Duo if there's two of you; the second person goes half price!
Your 'admission' is the train fare. Other than drinks and food at the pub, there is nothing else to pay - though there is a collection for the musicians at the end.
