METROLINK TIMETABLE CHANGES

From Monday 4th April an experimental shuttle service will be introduced between Piccadilly Station and Media CityUK.

The first departure from Piccadilly will be at 07.14 and then every 12 minutes to 19.38.

The Eccles line service will not call at MediaCityUK during the period when the shuttle is in operation (it will call at MediaCityUK in the early morning and in the evening).

To accommodate this shuttle service the Altrincham line service is being retimed.

The first tram from Altrincham on Monday to Saturday will be 6 minutes later at 05.59 and then every 12 minutes.

So effectively the Altrincham-Piccadilly and Altrincham-Bury services are "swapping paths".

The Altrincham-Piccadilly service will be at 59, 11, 23, 35 and 47 minutes past each hour from Altrincham from 05.59.

The Altrincham-Bury service will in future depart from Altrincham at 05, 17, 29, 41 and 53 minutes past the hour from 07.17. The net effect of the changes will be that between 06.00 and 07.00 trams from Altrincham towards Manchester will all depart 6 minutes later than at present.
