MIDSUMMER MUSIC TRAIN FROM CHESTER TO PLUMLEY 17th June 2009
Root Chords are playing and singing on the Music Train and at the Golden Pheasant pub in Plumley on Wednesday 17 June. The train leaves Chester at 19:07 and we return at 22:45.
Root Chords play blues, country and folk based music from both sides of the Atlantic on acoustic instruments but with the power and drive of rock. "That's why they are called the acoustic rock'n roll band."
The Music Train uses one of the regular hourly services on the Mid Cheshire line. There is no charge for the event - just the price of your ordinary train ticket. Your 'admission' is the train fare. Other than drinks and food at the pub, there is nothing else to pay - though there is a collection for the musicians at the end.
