Special Trains:

The Great Western Express

Rail Tour "top and tailed" by Diesel Class 67s, 67010 (in Wrexham & Shropshire livery, substituting for 67025 which had failed) and 67021 picking up at Piccadilly, Stockport, most stations Altrincham - Chester, then Crewe, then via the WCML to Nuneaton, Coventry and Leamington Spa, setting down at Oxford, Bath and Bristol.

There was an optional coach trip from Bath to the East Somerset Railway for a return trip behind an industrial steam..

Over 480 passengers travelled.
