Diesel railtour hauled by Diesel Class 37, 37042 and 37114, picking up Manchester Piccadilly - Shrewsbury - Machynlleth and Aberystwyth for the Vale of Rheidol Railway.

Vale of Rheidol No.9, The Prince of Wales, hauled a special train which slipped a lot on wet rails with about 200 passengers.

Over 590 passengers travelled on The Red Dragon.
