Diesel railtour hauled by Diesel Class 67, 67022, picking up at Chester - Altrincham, then via Dore South curve, Chesterfield, Derby, Burton-on-Trent, Tamworth, Saltley, Small Heath, Tyseley & Leamington Spa.

Return service was hauled by Diesel Class 67, 67007.

Over 540 passengers travelled on The Thames Valley Express.
