NCRUG reaches 20! ….

Our colleagues in NCRUG (North Cheshire Rail User Group, which covers Chester to Manchester via Helsby and Frodsham, also the Halton Curve to Runcorn and Liverpool, and Helsby to Ellesmere Port) are celebrating their 20th Anniversary in March. Their website is here.

At this point the main itinerary proceeds to Manchester but there is an option to cut short your
day by de-training at Warrington Central to catch the 16.26 from Warrington Bank Quay. For those intending to take this option then a Day Return to Liverpool from your originating station may offer the cheapest rail fare.
