Hale Station Burglary….

Posted on August 9th, 2010, by Vice Chairman

British Transport Police are reporting six burglaries or attempted burglaries in the Manchester Area in the last couple of months – of which one is Hale on the Mid Cheshire Line.

For those that work hard on the line, it is both sad and annoying that a group of burglars then force down the doors of the Hale Booking Office and take more than £1,000.

BTP Detective Inspector Rainey has commented

“The thieves managed to take more than £1,000 from Hale and are clearly content to keep trying for further gain.

Someone must know who these men are – or at least must question what they are up to as all the burglaries have taken place late at night or in the early hours of the morning”.

If can help, please ring BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
