    Excellent website.

Now Christmas is over and the thaw has set in – it is an good time of year to book our tickets for the rail tour on May 7th. We really enjoyed the trip last year.

  2. Jen Says:

What length are the trains usually used on excursions? Are they 6 carriages or are they even longer requiring not all carriages to be opened at all stations they call at?

  3. The Chairman Says:

    Hi, Jen!

Excursions are usually 12 or 13 carriages long.

Different rules apply for these. People get on where there’s a platform available. People are directed where to get off.
