Christmas at Northwich and Altrincham ….

Sally, our CRO, says :-

10 Dec – here’s 2 photos of the Christmas event. We made decorations for the tree in a craft session led by Zone staff (2 MCRUA members who attended demonstrated excellent rosette and paper chain making skills!). We then decorated the tree (a scented Fraser Fir) which was donated by the Forestry Commission at Delamere and we ate mince pies, drank mulled wine and sang Christmas carols.

Smart tree!

14 Dec – MCRUA members, myself and Chris, our Northern Stations Manager spent a productive day carrying out station visits to all stations between Mouldsworth and Navigation Road. We ended the day with a warming cup of coffee from the new café at Altrincham Station (Hamiltons). MCRUA members receive a discount at the café if they give their membership number.

Who are those elderly gentleman in the Happy Band with Alderman Carey!

    Happy Christmas, Mr Chairman!

  2. Dukedog Says:

What a shame. After all his hard work in helping make decorations, poor old Harry Baggins can’t recognise himself on the photograph.

    Hope you enjoyed your Christmas,

    Harry.
