2011 Music Train programme Rocks & Rolls ….

Posted on March 10th, 2011, by The Chairman

21 people joined our first music train of 2011 last night writes our CRO, Sally Buttifant.

The Hotfoot Jazz Men had never played on the Mid Cheshire Line and were “impressed” by the ride quality of the pacer – we were impressed with how well they played as we rocked & rolled to quality Jazz sounds.

As usual we enjoyed fine food & drink in the Golden Pheasant, Plumley – here’s to an excellent season as the days lengthen!

I was there and it was a very pleasant evening to start the season off. I look forward to more successful nights, and some afternoons, with good music, fine food and excellent well pulled real ale.

Well done to Mike Ross for getting us off to a fine start with the Hotfoot Jazz Men.

p.s. …. the musicians musn’t travel much on a Pacer to be impressed by the ride quality. More likely it was because the Pacer “nodded” along to the beat of the music.
