With short days and dark, miserable evenings it seems timely to remind people that the Mid Cheshire line is regularly patrolled by British Transport Police who rely as well on passengers letting them know if there are any issues on trains or at stations.

If you witness any anti-social behaviour, any vandalism or any behaviour that you think might be criminal please report it to BTP – their free reporting line is 0800 40 50 40. Reporting issues through helps BTP to build up a picture of what is happening at our stations and on our trains so it can then be dealt with accordingly.

But of course for emergencies dial 999 in the usual way.

At staffed stations you can also talk to Northern Rail Staff re any concerns that you might have or you can talk to me, Sally Buttifant our Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership Officer on 0773 652 3863 or any of our MCRUA Committee Members.
