It’s Christmas at Northwich Station! ….

For the last two years the staff at Delamere Forest have kindly donated a real Christmas tree for the ticket office and the CRP has held a Christmas event to decorate the tree.

Unfortunately this year Delamere were unable to donate a tree and it seemed like Christmas was cancelled for passengers at Northwich Station!

But thankfully Christmas wishes do come true and Northern Rail very kindly stepped in with a lovely decorated Christmas tree and festive decorations for the new customer friendly ticket office.

A huge THANK YOU to Chris and Stuart for their creative efforts.

Thanks to David Miller for the pictures.

Much improved ticket office, too!

It is great having a ticket office where you can talk to a real person about tickets and prices etc. You can also buy other tickets such as Wayfarer tickets too. And don’t forget that the bus station on Watling Street also sells Wayfarers and usually has plentiful supplies. These tickets offer an excellent value for money way of travelling around – check out the map on the Wayfarer ticket.

If only Northwich booking office was open in the afternoon and early evening as well. One for the next franchise(if it is a franchise)?
