MCRUA is active campaigning for better services and facilities on:
- the Mid Cheshire Line that connects Chester with Manchester
via Northwich, Knutsford, Altrincham and Stockport
- the Crewe to Liverpool Line via Winsford, Hartford and Acton Bridge
and the re-opening to passenger traffic of the Middlewich Branch connecting Northwich to Sandbach via Middlewich.
